Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) further tightened its grip on the local motorcycle market after closing calendar year 2025 with more than one million units sold, underscoring the brand’s enduring appeal and deep-rooted trust among Filipino riders.

The country’s top motorcycle manufacturer recorded 1,041,237 retail sales and 1,044,510 wholesale sales for the year, capped by its strongest retail month on record in December with 114,772 motorcycles sold. The milestone performance marked the highest annual retail sales in the company’s history, reinforcing Honda’s position at the forefront of the Philippine two-wheel industry.

HPI said the robust results reflect sustained consumer confidence in its reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation, as well as its long-standing mission of bringing the joy of mobility to every Filipino. With a product lineup that spans daily commuters, adventure riders, and business users, Honda continues to support everyday journeys by offering motorcycles that deliver efficiency, performance, and peace of mind.

Driving the company’s full-year success were its five best-selling models: Click125, ADV160, BeAT, TMX125 Alpha, and XRM125 DS. The Click125 led both retail and wholesale sales on the strength of its sporty design, fuel efficiency, and rider-friendly features.

The ADV160, meanwhile, gained traction among adventure-oriented riders with its balance of power, advanced safety technologies, and comfort for longer rides.

The BeAT remained a consistent favorite among young and first-time riders, thanks to its lightweight build and stylish, compact design. In the underbone segment, the XRM125 DS continued to appeal to riders navigating both urban streets and rural roads, while the TMX125 Alpha retained its strong following among workers and entrepreneurs who value durability, fuel efficiency, and ease of maintenance.

“Our strong performance in 2025 reflects the continued trust of Filipino riders and the strength of our diverse product lineup,” said Takeshi Kobayashi, president of Honda Philippines, Inc. “We remain committed to delivering innovative and dependable motorcycles that support the daily lives, work, and aspirations of our customers.”

HPI said its continued leadership highlights its dedication to making two-wheel mobility safer, more reliable, and more accessible for Filipinos from all walks of life—whether students, professionals, entrepreneurs, or motorcycle enthusiasts.

Heading into 2026, the company said it remains focused on offering products that strike a balance between performance, efficiency, and comfort, while adapting to the evolving needs of today’s riders.
