Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) is taking a major step in supporting youth empowerment through sports by becoming a key partner in the Philippines’ historic hosting of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship 2025 this September.
As the official two-wheel motorcycle partner, Honda will significantly enrich the tournament experience for athletes, fans, and stakeholders alike.
“Just like the athletes who give their all with every serve and spike, Honda is driven by the same passion to push boundaries in mobility and innovation,” said Sayaka Arai, president of Honda Philippines, Inc.
“Through this partnership, we hope to ignite the passion of volleyball fans, empower future champions, and help create an unforgettable experience at the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship,” Arai added.
Honda has long recognized the power of sports as a vehicle for youth development, promoting values such as discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. This partnership reflects Honda’s global commitment to inspiring the next generation by providing access to world-class sporting events that bring elite competition closer to communities.
A global celebration of volleyball
The FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship is one of the most prestigious international tournaments, featuring the top 32 men’s teams from around the globe. More than just a competition, the event celebrates unity, camaraderie, and the universal love of the game.
Set to take place from September 12 to 28, 2025, matches will be held at two iconic venues: the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City and the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Honda’s commitment to excellence
Guided by its sports philosophy—“Enjoying Challenges, Nurturing Challenges, and Connecting Challenges”—Honda is committed to fostering perseverance, growth, and unity both on and off the court.
By supporting this international event, the company continues to invest in talent development and community engagement, ensuring the spirit of sportsmanship thrives far beyond competition.
“This partnership marks more than just Honda’s support—it positions the Philippines on the global volleyball map,” said PNVF President Ramon “Tats” Suzara. “With Honda’s involvement, the 2025 championship will not only be a world-class tournament but a legacy in international sports history.”
The partnership was officially sealed during a contract signing held at Gallio Events Hall in Aseana Drive, Parañaque City, attended by officials from PNVF, FIVB, and Honda Philippines.
A landmark sports partnership
This partnership marks a major milestone, making Honda the first 2-Wheel Motorcycle brand to sponsor the FIVB. As a result, Honda will enjoy prominent visibility throughout the event and access to various promotional opportunities, reinforcing its global brand presence and unwavering support for athletic excellence.
Reflecting on the partnership, Arai added, “We’re not just backing a world-class sporting event — we’re supporting a vibrant community of athletes, fans, and dreamers. We’re here to help people move forward, break limits, and keep striving for greatness.”
Together, Honda and FIVB, through its Local Organizing Committee, are setting the stage for an exhilarating and impactful tournament—one that unites the world through volleyball and uplifts the next generation of champions.
