KIDAPAWAN CITY, North Cotabato — To mark 25 years of genuine service to its beneficiaries and pensioners, Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Kidapawan held a stakeholders’ dialogue to commit its long and continuing direct engagement with its members in North Cotabato.

According to GSIS president and general manager Arnulfo ‘Wick’ Veloso, the dialogue held at Sudapin Coffee brought together local stakeholders, education sector partners and media representatives to discuss the programs and service delivery improvements of the country’s premier government insurer that benefits public employees and pensioners.

In his message to attendees of the 25th anniversary celebration of GSIS Kidapawan, GM Veloso highlighted the signifance of its policy of listening to members, which remains central to improving programs and services of the agency.

“Ang pakikinig sa ating mga miyembro ang susi para mas mapabuti pa ang aming mga programa at serbisyo. Ang ganitong mga dayalogo ay mahalaga upang matiyak na ang GSIS ay tunay na katuwang ng bawat lingkod-bayan,” he pointed out.

After the dialogue, the Department of Education’+ (DepEd)’s Schools Division of Cotabato and Kidapawan City conferred plaques of recognition to Veloso for his leadership in advancing digital innovation through the GSIS Touch mobile app, his commitment to the Adopt-A-School Program and his partnership in advancing DepEd programs and initiatives.

The GSIS chief executive likewise met with members of North Cotabato’s local media to update them on the agency’s latest programs and services.

Corollary to this, the GSIS turned over ₱400,000 worth of technology packages to Manobisa Integrated School, the third school adopted by the Kidapawan branch under the Adopt-a-School CSR program.

Manager Josephine Marcial cited that the branch has maintained its commitment to accessible service delivery since opening in 2001 as it serves more than 29,000 members and pensioners and 98 agencies across the region, providing insurance, loans and other benefits.
