MANILA – Dismissed police officer Rodulfo Gracioso Jr. registered a “no deception indicated” result in his second polygraph examination conducted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), as authorities continue to verify his allegations involving alleged cash deliveries to Vice President Sara Duterte and other personalities.

According to the NBI polygraph report, the evaluation showed “no specific physiological reactions indicative of deception” in Gracioso’s responses to relevant questions concerning statements in his Sept. 14 sworn affidavit. The second examination was conducted on Sept. 30 and lasted about three hours.

Gracioso, a former security aide of former House Speaker Lord Allan Velasco, alleged that he delivered suitcases containing cash to Vice President Duterte, Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo Duterte and former President Rodrigo Duterte.

Vice President Duterte has denied knowing Gracioso and said she never received money from him. Velasco’s camp has likewise rejected the allegations, describing them as fabricated and inconsistent with verifiable facts.

The NBI stressed that the polygraph result is only part of its broader investigation and does not by itself establish the truth of Gracioso’s allegations. Investigators are separately verifying his statements and supporting materials.

The bureau has also invited Vice President Duterte, Paolo Duterte, Velasco and his wife Rowena to appear before investigators on Oct. 5 as part of the continuing inquiry.
