Former President and Pampanga 2nd District Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo officially secured her reelection to the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) Pampanga Provincial Board of Canvassers proclaimed the 78-year-old lawmaker as the winner during a ceremony at the new legislative building at the provincial capitol around 2:30 p.m.
Arroyo ran unopposed in the 2025 midterm elections, marking her second consecutive term since returning to Congress in 2022.
She previously represented the district from 2010 to 2019, after serving as President of the Philippines from 2001 to 2010.
