In its continuous effort to promote responsible digital citizenship, Globe has donated 20 AI-enabled tablets to students of Centex Batangas School in Bauan, Batangas.
This marks the school as the third beneficiary of Globe’s G-Gantic Goals campaign, an initiative designed to equip young learners with the right tools and knowledge to navigate the digital world safely and ethically.
Each tablet comes preloaded with Globe’s Digital Thumbprint Program (DTP) modules, a cornerstone of the campaign that educates students on cyber wellness and responsible internet use. These modules provide interactive lessons on essential digital skills, covering online etiquette, privacy protection, recognizing fake news, and safeguarding personal information.
With children becoming more dependent on digital tools for education, Globe recognizes the urgent need to foster a culture of safe, legal, and respectful online engagement.
Through the G-Gantic initiative, the company aims to empower students to make informed choices in their digital interactions and ensure they understand the benefits of technology and its potential risks.
A key focus of the program is combating cyberbullying by teaching students how to identify, prevent, and respond to harmful online behavior. By integrating these lessons into the school curriculum, Globe hopes to instill a sense of accountability among young users, encouraging them to become responsible digital community members.
The G-Gantic Goals campaign is part of Globe’s commitment to digital inclusivity and education. Combining technology access with comprehensive digital literacy training, the initiative seeks to bridge the knowledge gap and help shape a future where students can confidently and safely explore the digital world.
