Globe Telecom joined the celebration of Art in the Park’s 20th anniversary, reaffirming its support for Filipino creativity and culture through one of the country’s most beloved and accessible art events.
Held at Jaime Velasquez Park in Salcedo Village, Art in the Park has long served as a welcoming space where galleries, artists, collectors, and curious visitors can come together in a relaxed outdoor setting. As the fair marked two decades of championing local art, Globe highlighted its commitment to helping make creativity more visible, engaging, and accessible to more Filipinos.
This year’s edition brought together 55 exhibitors, including galleries, art collectives, independent art spaces, and student groups. With artworks offered at approachable prices, the fair continued its mission of making art collecting less intimidating and more inviting, especially for young buyers and first-time collectors. Through its support, Globe helped create more opportunities for the public to discover local talent while contributing to the continued growth of the country’s creative community.
At the Globe Experience Booth, powered by Globe AT HOME, visitors were treated to an immersive encounter where art and technology came together. In partnership with Scarletbox and through the Artivive app, limited-edition Globe AT HOME 5G WiFi router skins inspired by works of Philippine National Artists came to life through augmented reality. The interactive display transformed static designs into moving digital experiences, offering fairgoers a fresh and innovative way to connect with art.
Globe subscribers also enjoyed exclusive treats, partner merchant freebies, and hands-on activities, including the chance to personalize Globe merchandise. These added experiences made the booth not just a stop at the fair, but a creative space where visitors could express themselves and engage with the event in a more memorable way.
“Art in the Park has always been about building a space where Filipino artists and audiences can come together and celebrate creativity and community. Long-time partners like Globe help make that possible. Their support not only sustains the fair but also strengthens the broader creative industry by empowering young storytellers and giving them opportunities to engage with the art scene,” said Trickie Lopa and Lisa Periquet, co-founders of Art in the Park.
Globe also brought in 60 Student Media Ambassadors from universities across Metro Manila, giving aspiring content creators the chance to document the fair, share their own perspectives on social media, and engage directly with artists and fellow creatives. Ahead of the event, the students attended a Social Media 101 masterclass led by Globe Marketing Experts and Social Media Ambassadors, equipping them with practical skills and creative insights to help them tell stories more effectively in the digital space.
“Globe’s support for Art in the Park reflects our strong belief that creativity is a powerful force which enables progress. This is why we continue to champion platforms that highlight Filipino creativity, while giving our customers meaningful experiences that celebrate culture and technology. At the same time, we are empowering our next generation of storytellers through our student programs, empowering young creators with the skills, experiences, and opportunities they need to thrive in the digital and creative space,” said Roche Vandenberghe, chief marketing officer at Globe.
By supporting Art in the Park’s milestone year, Globe underscored its broader mission of making art more accessible while helping creative communities thrive. Through initiatives that connect culture, technology, and youth participation, the company continues to encourage Filipinos to explore their passions, share their talents, and take part in a more vibrant and inclusive creative future.
