Globe Telecom is setting the stage for a smarter, more connected Philippines with the launch of INNOVANIA 2025: COSMIC NEXUS, the company’s biggest technology and innovation summit yet. The two-day event unveils Globe’s ambitious Technology Roadmap—one powered by sustainability, artificial intelligence, and a vision of future-ready cities.
Kicking off the summit were Globe President and CEO Carl Cruz, Mynt Chairman Ernest Cu, and a lineup of global experts in connectivity, urban planning, and sustainability. The spotlight quickly turned to the big question: What will it take to build truly connected cities that work for Filipinos?
That conversation came alive during a high-powered fireside chat featuring Department of Information and Communications Technology Secretary Henry Aguda, Bacolod Representative Albee Benitez, Anti-Red Tape Authority Director General Ernesto Perez, Cruz, and Cu. Their message was clear—tomorrow’s cities will require bold collaboration between government and the private sector, anchored on digital infrastructure, intelligent design, and sustainable practices.
Among the solutions discussed: supportive national policies, global best practices, and new approaches like neutral hosting and Zero Lease models that can lower barriers for future developments. Globe also highlighted its evolution beyond telecommunications, stepping firmly into the role of a digital solutions partner driving financial inclusion, smart real estate, and community-driven tech adoption.
