Globe is standing in solidarity with communities devastated by Typhoon Uwan, delivering vital relief, connectivity, and on-ground assistance across Luzon. Working closely with local government units and humanitarian partners, the company continues to help families recover, reconnect, and rebuild in the wake of the storm.

Globe’s network restoration teams have been on continuous duty to bring communication services back online in affected provinces. In North Luzon, full network availability has already been restored in Tarlac, Pampanga, Zambales, Apayao, Nueva Ecija, and Ilocos Norte. Technical teams remain deployed in other northern areas to ensure stable and reliable connections are maintained.

In South Luzon, overall network availability has reached 82.82%, with full restoration achieved in Batangas, Cavite, Occidental Mindoro, Laguna, Albay, Romblon, Oriental Mindoro, and Marinduque. Globe engineers continue to coordinate with disaster response units to expedite connectivity restoration in the remaining affected towns.

Beyond connectivity, Globe is extending much-needed care through its Alagang Globe and Brigadang Ayala programs. In partnership with Ayala Foundation Inc. (AFI), Globe is aiding relief operations in Rosario, Northern Samar, and Sangay, Camarines Sur, distributing essential supplies and comfort items to displaced families. Together with Rise Against Hunger Philippines (RAH), Globe has also delivered 600 food packs to 200 families in Ilocos Norte and Cagayan, with more batches of assistance being readied for deployment to other hard-hit communities.

To help residents stay connected during power and signal interruptions, Globe has set up Libreng Tawag, Libreng Charging, and Libreng WiFi (LTLCW) stations across Luzon. These free service areas are available in Brgy. Care, Tarlac City; Brgy. Backiling, Aparri, Cagayan; Brgy. Dominican Hill–Mirador and Brgy. Bakakeng Norte in Baguio City; Pili Public Market in Camarines Sur; and Daet Poblacion in Camarines Norte. The sites are operational from November 10 to 13, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and are strategically located near evacuation centers to give affected residents immediate access to communication support.

In line with its Alagang Globe commitment, the company continues to provide targeted assistance to customers in affected areas, including free call, text, and data services for Globe Prepaid and TM users; extended payment deadlines for Globe Postpaid and GFiber Postpaid subscribers; free data allocations for Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi users; and donation channels through Globe Rewards and GCash to support partner organizations like Rise Against Hunger Philippines.

Globe remains steadfast in its mission to keep Filipinos connected and cared for in times of crisis, reaffirming that communication and compassion are at the heart of its every response. Updates on Globe’s relief and restoration efforts for Typhoon Uwan-affected communities are available through GlobeICON and its official social media channels.
