As part of Globe’s 10th year of 917 GDay celebrations, Globe Business once again championed Filipino entrepreneurship through the annual G Fair 2025 — a two-day celebration of local talent and innovation held on September 19–20 at the BGC Amphitheater in Taguig.

Now on its third year, G Fair has grown from a vibrant pop-up market into a full-fledged development platform designed to accelerate the growth of local small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This year, Globe Business amplified the fair’s mission to support homegrown brands by combining commerce, learning, and mentorship under one roof — ensuring Filipino entrepreneurs are equipped not just to survive, but to thrive in the digital economy.

“This year’s G Fair builds on a decade of empowering local entrepreneurs during GDay. It’s more than a marketplace — it’s an ecosystem that gives them access to the tools, knowledge, and networks they need to scale,” said KD Dizon, Head of Globe Business.

At the bustling G Fair Marketplace, 30 proudly local brands showcased the best of Filipino craftsmanship, from Baybayin Bags and Sewn Sandals to H Proper and W Bakehouse, drawing thousands of visitors who directly supported these homegrown ventures. Beyond shopping, attendees enjoyed interactive booths, raffle prizes, and performances by rising artists FINIX and SYNC, reinforcing the festive spirit of the event.

But what set this year’s G Fair apart was its strong developmental thrust. The G Fair Business Hub served as a one-stop center for guidance and mentorship, offering on-the-spot consultations with industry leaders from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Go Negosyo, GCash, Lazada, and TikTok. A series of upskilling talks and panel discussions gave SME owners practical insights on digital transformation, sustainable operations, and how to balance cultural heritage with business innovation.

To honor excellence among its participants, the G Fair Awards recognized standout SMEs driving breakthrough innovation and sustainability, further highlighting Globe’s commitment to nurturing the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

With its expanded scope and energized community, G Fair 2025 cemented its role as a launchpad for local businesses — proving that Globe’s GDay is more than a celebration, but a catalyst for empowering a new generation of Filipino entrepreneurs to scale their impact on the national and global stage.
