Globe has intensified its restoration efforts in areas severely affected by Typhoon Tino, which caused widespread power outages and transmission interruptions across the Visayas and Mindanao.

Connectivity disruptions were reported in 14 provinces in the Visayas and two in Mindanao, with Cebu, Bohol, and Negros Occidental among the most impacted in the Visayas, and Dinagat Islands and Surigao in Mindanao. Globe teams are working round the clock to bring services back online in affected towns and cities.

“Our Alagang Globe commitment goes beyond connectivity—we are on the ground ensuring communities can communicate and recover as quickly as possible,” said Yoly Crisanto, Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer of Globe.

To assist residents, Globe will deploy Libreng Tawag and Libreng Charging (LTLC) stations in areas where network restoration remains ongoing. The company is also partnering with local government units and humanitarian organizations to deliver much-needed relief to families in the most heavily hit locations.

Globe continues to provide situation updates and advisories through its GlobeICON social media channels as restoration progresses.
