Filipino creative agency GIGIL continues to prove that bold, unconventional ideas can deliver both business results and international acclaim, earning a silver and multiple bronze honors at the prestigious New York Festivals Advertising Awards.
Recognized as one of the advertising industry’s most respected global competitions, The New York Festivals celebrates campaigns that set new standards for creativity, innovation, effectiveness, and cultural impact.

Leading GIGIL’s award haul was Canva’s “Kween Yasmin” campaign, which captured a Silver Award in the Best Use of Social Media Influencer category and a Bronze Award for User-Generated Content. Beyond the trophies, the campaign delivered tangible results, driving Filipinos to use Canva Pro assets more than 1.6 million times.
Adding to the agency’s success, GrabMart’s “Chicky” campaign earned a Bronze Award in the NYF’in Funny category. The quirky and memorable campaign translated into remarkable business growth, helping GrabMart achieve 227% faster week-on-week growth.

Meanwhile, Stresstabs’ “Assemble” campaign was recognized as a Finalist in the Branded Content and Entertainment category. The campaign delivered a historic milestone for the brand, enabling Stresstabs to surpass a long-time market leader in terms of market share for the first time in its history.
GIGIL’s strong showing extended beyond its winners. The agency also secured seven additional shortlist citations, including a film for Orocan and an experiential campaign promoting Season 2 of Netflix’s hit series “Wednesday.” No other Philippine agency had more entries recognized by The New York Festivals this year.
“At GIGIL, we’ve never believed creativity and effectiveness should be separate goals. The work we’re most proud of is work that surprises people, gets talked about, and grows our clients’ businesses,” said Badong Abesamis, Founding Partner of GIGIL. “We’re happy that competitions like The New York Festivals continue to recognize ideas that are both unconventional and effective.”
The latest honors reinforce GIGIL’s growing reputation as a world-class creative force—demonstrating that Filipino ideas can compete with the best globally while delivering measurable impact for brands.
