GAC International Philippines has taken another step in strengthening its presence in the country after officially becoming a member of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), the country’s leading automotive industry organization.
The membership positions GAC Philippines alongside the nation’s top vehicle manufacturers and distributors, allowing the company to participate in industry discussions and collaborate on policies, standards, and programs that support the long-term growth of the Philippine automotive sector.
“Joining CAMPI is a significant honor and a pivotal chapter for our operations,” said Steven Wang, Senior Vice President of GAC International. “We look forward to working closely with industry partners as we continue expanding our footprint in the Philippines. This membership reflects our commitment to bringing world-class engineering, innovative mobility solutions, and an elevated ownership experience to Filipino consumers.”
The development follows GAC Philippines’ strategic reorganization earlier this year, when it became a wholly owned subsidiary of GAC International. The transition introduced the company’s global “ONE GAC” strategy, integrating GAC MOTOR, AION, and HYPTEC into a single brand ecosystem.
Under the unified platform, the company aims to provide a seamless customer experience—from vehicle purchase to aftersales service—while offering Filipino motorists a wider range of gasoline, hybrid, and electric vehicles. The consolidation also strengthens operational efficiency through improved parts availability, faster service support, and tighter coordination across its nationwide dealer network.
Backed by more than two decades of technical collaboration with Toyota and Honda, GAC has built a reputation for advanced manufacturing, quality engineering, and hybrid technology. The company combines global automotive expertise with solutions designed to meet the driving conditions and needs of Filipino customers.
To support its growing customer base, GAC Philippines has expanded its nationwide footprint to 30 dealerships, complemented by a dedicated parts distribution facility and enhanced aftersales services designed to deliver a more convenient ownership experience.
Vehicle buyers also benefit from competitive warranty packages. Internal combustion engine models are covered for up to five years or 150,000 kilometers, while electric vehicles receive an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty, plus an eight-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty for the core three-electric system. Every new vehicle purchase also includes two years of complimentary roadside assistance.
As it strengthens its local operations, GAC Philippines said its CAMPI membership underscores its intention to become a long-term partner in the country’s automotive industry—supporting innovation, promoting sustainable mobility, and contributing to the continued development of the Philippine market.
