Cebuanos now have a new destination for stories, manga, and Japanese pop culture with the opening of Fully Booked’s first branch outside Metro Manila, in partnership with Japan’s Kinokuniya. Located in the Northwing expansion of SM City Cebu, the store officially opened on August 22, 2025.
The Cebu branch combines Fully Booked’s curated selection of trade books—including modern fiction, non-fiction, children’s titles, and romantasy bestsellers—with Kinokuniya’s extensive Japanese-language offerings. Visitors can browse shelves filled with manga, literature, art books, and language learning materials.
Beyond books, the store features Japanese stationery, toys, collectibles, and anime-inspired merchandise, making it a cultural hotspot for manga fans, casual readers, and those interested in Japanese pop culture.
This opening marks the first Fully Booked x Kinokuniya collaboration outside Metro Manila, following successful stores in Mitsukoshi BGC (2022), SM Mall of Asia (2023), SM North Edsa (2024), and Glorietta 4 (June 2025). It is also Fully Booked’s 46th branch nationwide, with more locations planned later this year.
