Motorists should brace for another round of fuel price hikes, as several oil companies announced adjustments set to take effect on Tuesday morning.
In separate advisories, Seaoil and Shell Pilipinas revealed that gasoline prices will go up by P0.40 per liter, diesel by P1.10, and kerosene by P0.70, starting 6:00 a.m. on July 23.
PTT Philippines will implement similar increases, raising gasoline prices by P0.40/L and diesel by P1.30/L.
Caltex, on the other hand, will hike gasoline by P0.20/L, diesel by P0.75/L, and kerosene by P0.50/L, effective 6:01 a.m. on the same day.
This marks the second straight week of price hikes across all fuel categories, reflecting continued volatility in global oil markets.
Experts attribute the upward trend to a mix of international factors, including higher global energy demand, concerns over supply stability, and the ongoing impact of U.S. tariff policies on global trade and oil prices.
More price increases may follow in the coming weeks, according to industry analysts.
