Francine Tajanlangit wins Miss Elite Global 2025

Another proud moment for the Philippines on the global pageant stage! Francine Tajanlangit was recently crowned Miss Elite Global 2025 in Goa, India — a triumph made even more special as she also bagged the Best in National Costume and Best Ramp Walk awards.

Her victory marks a back-to-back win for the Philippines, as she succeeds fellow Filipina Jean Tumang, who held the same title last year.

“Para sa ‘yo, mahal kong Pilipinas,” Tajanlangit wrote in an Instagram post showcasing her crown and sashes, dedicating her win to the country.

The newly crowned queen bested candidates from Benelux, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Netherlands, who were named runners-up.

Before stepping onto the international stage, Tajanlangit competed in Miss Manila 2023, where she earned the second runner-up spot.

Her win adds to the growing list of Filipina victories in global pageants this year — including Alexie Brooks at Miss Eco International in Egypt and Dia Mate at Reina Hispanoamericana in Bolivia — further solidifying the Philippines’ reputation as a powerhouse in the world of pageantry.
