Top Filipino iGaming creators are joining forces in a major push for responsible gaming just as authorities crack down on influencers promoting unlicensed or scam iGaming sites. Leading the movement is Philippine esports pioneer Julius “Banoobs” Mariano, who on November 13 unveiled YGS Live (Your Game Simulator Live) — a next-generation platform built to elevate creators while championing safe, ethical, and fully PAGCOR-licensed iGaming entertainment.
A pillar of the PH esports community for more than a decade, Banoobs has helped shape the industry since his early days with Mineski Events Team in 2007. His leadership journey spans key roles as Twitch Philippines Country Manager and senior positions with Ampverse (Minana) and Blacklist International. Now, he’s channeling that experience into a mission-driven platform that empowers creators without compromising player safety.
“YGS Live is built for creators who want to grow, collaborate, and elevate the iGaming space responsibly,” Banoobs said. “Influence comes with responsibility. We want YGS Live to be a platform that doesn’t just entertain but educates — shaping a healthier iGaming culture for everyone.”
Launching alongside the platform is its flagship program, Battle of the Streamers — a high-energy, international iGaming tournament boasting an 11-million-peso prize pool. The competition kicks off on November 15, with weekly Saturday battles leading up to a grand finale in January 2026 at City of Dreams Manila.
The star-studded lineup features some of the country’s biggest iGaming personalities, including ChooxTV, Hypebits, Foreigngerms, AD BEAT, BULLDOG, AkosiDogie, and Beatmaster. All participants have committed to supporting only PAGCOR-licensed platforms — a firm stand against the growing trend of creators unknowingly or deliberately promoting illegal or fraudulent sites.
Each livestream will blend intense matchups with interactive fan segments, where viewers can win part of the 3-million-peso community prize pool. A total of 300,000 pesos will be given away every week, boosting engagement while rewarding the growing YGS Live community.
Designed as a broadcast-style network for iGaming and entertainment content, YGS Live offers creators a brand-safe space built on collaboration, inclusivity, and integrity. For Banoobs, the vision is clear: to position Filipino streamers as global leaders in the iGaming entertainment scene and transform YGS Live into what he describes as “the GMA or Netflix of iGaming.”
