Coins.ph is making it easier than ever for Filipinos to move money across borders. On August 14, 2025, the company announced its integration with the Polkadot Asset Hub, unlocking faster and more affordable transfers of popular stablecoins like USDT and USDC.
For millions of Coins.ph users, this means sending funds to family, friends, or even business partners abroad will now take less time and cost much less. Instead of dealing with high fees and slow confirmation times on traditional blockchain networks, the Polkadot Asset Hub allows smoother, near-instant transfers at a fraction of the cost.
“At Coins.ph, we’re committed to making crypto practical for everyday use. By integrating Polkadot Asset Hub, we’re cutting both the cost and the wait time for stablecoin transfers—perfect for Filipinos sending money to their loved ones, wherever they may be,” said Wei Zhou, CEO of Coins.ph.
The Polkadot Asset Hub is a specialized parachain designed for stablecoins and fungible assets, giving Coins.ph users a direct entry point into Polkadot’s expanding Web3 ecosystem. Aside from transfers, users gain easier access to decentralized finance (DeFi) opportunities—empowering them to do more with their digital assets beyond storage and remittance.
“This partnership with Coins.ph helps bring Polkadot’s Web3 infrastructure closer to everyday use. It gives Filipinos reliable, real-world access to stablecoin transfers that are both fast and cost-effective,” said Nicolas Arevalo, CEO of Velocity Labs, a core contributor to Polkadot.
To use the new feature, Coins.ph customers can simply choose the Polkadot network when depositing or withdrawing supported stablecoins on the app or website.
For Coins.ph, this move is part of its bigger mission: powering the Web3 future in the Philippines with accessible crypto tools that deliver real, practical value to everyday Filipinos.
