Group of professionals gathered around a conference table for the ceremonial signing of a partnership agreement between Etiqa Philippines and Metro Pacific Health.

Etiqa Philippines has forged a strategic partnership with Metro Pacific Health (MPH), the country’s largest private hospital network, to significantly widen access to reliable, patient-centered healthcare for Filipino employees and their families.

The collaboration blends Etiqa’s strength in group medical and employee benefits with MPH’s extensive network of 29 major hospitals, creating a more seamless, dependable care experience for members nationwide.

Under the partnership, both organizations will co-develop medical packages aimed at improving affordability, convenience, and long-term health outcomes. These initiatives are intended to reduce financial barriers to care while ensuring that Etiqa members receive continuous access to consultations, treatments, diagnostics, and medical procedures across MPH facilities. Ensuring uninterrupted access to care has been positioned as a central pillar of the joint effort.

By integrating MPH into Etiqa’s already expansive network of more than 1,500 hospitals and clinics, the partnership marks a major step toward delivering broader reach and superior care coordination for members across the country.

The collaboration was formalized with the participation of MPH Group CEO Dr. Haresh Pillai and Chief Commercial Officer Jessica Abaya, together with the leadership team of Etiqa Philippines headed by President and CEO Anthony Bernabe, OIC-CFO Modesta Mammuad, OIC-COO and Head of Strategy & Transformation Gladys Pascual, FVP for Operations and Service Excellence Czarina Banal, FVP for Medical Operations and Medical Director Dr. Olivia Taloma, and AVP for Network Relations Services Dr. Jofel del Carmen.

Etiqa President and CEO Anthony Bernabe emphasized the importance of the partnership, noting that working with a respected healthcare network like MPH enables the company to deliver healthcare that is reliable, accessible, and responsive to the evolving needs of Filipino employees. First Vice President for Operations and Service Excellence Czarina Banal added that the collaboration elevates service delivery by streamlining access and improving care coordination across facilities.

OIC-Chief Operations Officer and Head of Strategy & Transformation Gladys Pascual likewise underscored the value of the alliance, highlighting that MPH plays a crucial role in preserving uninterrupted access for members and ensuring consistent, dependable care from consultation to procedure.

Both Etiqa Philippines and Metro Pacific Health affirmed their shared commitment to advancing healthcare accessibility nationwide. The partnership, grounded in trust and a unified mission to elevate Filipino well-being, sets the stage for more innovative, coordinated, and patient-centered healthcare solutions in the years ahead.
