The Department of Justice (DOJ) has officially announced a P1-million reward for any information leading to the arrest of Cassandra Li Ong, who is facing a human trafficking case before the Pasig Regional Trial Court.
Acting Justice Secretary Frederick Vida formally disclosed the bounty on Tuesday, stating that the P1-million is being offered for “credible, actionable information that will directly lead to the lawful discovery, location, and subsequent arrest” of Ong by authorized law enforcement agents.
Ong, an incorporator of Whirlwind Corporation, is an accused in the ongoing criminal proceedings. The charges stem from her alleged involvement with the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hub, Lucky South 99, and Whirlwind Corporation.
