Fuel prices will see mixed adjustments this week, with diesel and kerosene set to rise while gasoline will see a slight decrease starting Tuesday, November 5, oil firms announced on Monday.
Seaoil and Shell said they will lower gasoline prices by 10 centavos per liter, while diesel and kerosene prices will increase by 75 and 50 centavos per liter, respectively. Shell cited premium freight and biofuel costs as factors in the price adjustments.
Petro Gazz also confirmed in a separate advisory that it would raise diesel prices by 75 centavos per liter and lower gasoline by 10 centavos per liter.
Last week, oil companies increased diesel and kerosene by 50 centavos per liter and gasoline by 20 centavos per liter.
According to Department of Energy data as of October 29, gasoline prices have risen by 20 centavos per liter, with diesel and kerosene each up by 50 centavos per liter.
Year-to-date, gasoline and diesel have seen net increases of P8.75 and P6.55 per liter, respectively, while kerosene has recorded a net decrease of P3.10 per liter.
