Dennis Trillo is basking in the glory of his Best Actor win at the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Gabi ng Parangal, where his film “Green Bones” emerged as a top winner.
The Kapuso actor shared his joy on Instagram, posting a photo with his wife, Jennylyn Mercado, in his arms and his trophy in hand.
“Napaka ganda talaga ng trophy ko,” he captioned the post with a green heart emoji, also expressing gratitude for the accolades received by “Green Bones”.
The film claimed several major awards, including Best Picture, Best Screenplay (Ricky Lee and Angeli Atienza), and Best Cinematography (Neil Daza). Trillo’s co-star Ruru Madrid was honored as Best Supporting Actor, while Sienna Stevens received the Best Child Performer award.
“Green Bones” stood out at this year’s festival, earning recognition for the cast and crew’s efforts and contributions to Philippine cinema.
