Converge ICT Solutions Inc. is on track to activate two new data centers and two international submarine cable systems within the year, signaling a major move in its transition toward becoming a full-fledged technology company.
“This 2025, Converge is positioned for a transformative year… We are excited to activate two state-of-the-art data centers to support the growing demand of cloud and enterprise services,” said CEO and co-founder Dennis Anthony Uy during the company’s virtual annual stockholders meeting on Friday.
He also announced the upcoming launch of the Bifrost and SEA H2X cable systems, which are expected to go online this year. These undersea cables will strengthen Converge’s capacity to serve both residential customers and large-scale enterprises.
The data centers—located in Metro Manila and Pampanga—are designed to house a combined 1,500 racks, catering to bandwidth-heavy enterprise needs and supporting broadband subscribers. One of the facilities, the Caloocan Data Center, recently secured a Tier 3 design certification, ensuring high standards of maintainability and uptime reliability.
Uy emphasized, “The integration of our new data centers along with the development of two cable systems positions us to propel our Converge global business.”
The company has allocated ₱20 billion to ₱25 billion in capital expenditures for 2025 to fund the expansion, including the subsea cable systems and data center investments.
