Converge, NEXTASIA ink deal to power smart, connected communities

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. and NEXTASIA Land sealed their partnership on Wednesday in a move that signals a strong push toward building future-ready neighborhood. The contract signing ceremony was held Wednesday at The Westin Manila.

The agreement names Converge as the exclusive internet service provider (ISP) for NEXTASIA’s developments, underscoring a shared commitment to digital transformation in the real estate space.

“This partnership goes beyond connectivity,” said John Paul Aguilar, Senior Vice President and Business Unit Head for National Consumer Business at Converge. “We are enabling families to thrive in a digital-first world—whether they are working from home, learning online, running businesses, or accessing global opportunities. It’s about creating real impact in everyday life.”

The collaboration is already taking shape, with two of NEXTASIA’s projects already connected to Converge, and a development in San Pablo, Laguna set to go live next week.

For NEXTASIA, the partnership is a strategic step toward building smarter communities.

“We’re not just constructing houses—we’re building the future,” said Dustin Carreon, Chief Operating Officer of NEXTASIA. “In today’s world, reliable internet is as essential as electricity and water. Our vision is clear: every household, regardless of price point, deserves access to a high-speed, dependable connection.”

Carreon also emphasized the cultural synergy between the two companies, noting that both are relatively young and agile players in their respective industries.

“We were both founded in 2012, so we see Converge not just as a provider, but as a peer. It’s important for us to work with partners who move at the same pace as we do,” he shared.

Aguilar also highlighted Converge’s recent accolades, citing that the company has been named the best internet provider in the region for the past three consecutive periods—solidifying its reputation for speed and service reliability.

Also present at the signing were Redentor Alterado, Vice President and Regional General Manager, and Manny Erlano, Partner Acquisition and Relations Manager from Converge. Representing NEXTASIA were Tristan Carreon, Deputy to the COO; Architect Ruffy S. Senisa, Project Management Head; and Architect Renzo Gruezo, Project Architect Team Leader.

With this strategic alliance, both companies aim to bring smart connectivity to the heart of Filipino homes—ensuring communities are not only built for today, but are ready for the digital demands of tomorrow.
