Chery Tiggo and Cignal are set to battle for the last two quarterfinal slots in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference as they take the court at Philsports Arena in Pasig on Tuesday.

The Crossovers will face the Farm Fresh Foxies at 4 p.m., followed by the HD Spikers’ clash against the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles at 6:30 p.m.

Both teams secured crucial wins last Thursday, with Chery Tiggo sweeping Nxled, 25-22, 26-24, 25-12, in Pool B, while Cignal overcame Capital1, 25-21, 22-25, 25-17, 25-15, in Pool A. A victory on Tuesday would cement their places in the next round.

The Crossovers will bank on key players such as Cess Robles, Shaya Adorador, Pauline Gaston, Ara Galang, Seth Rodriguez, and veteran Aby Maraño to deliver another strong performance.

“Our mindset is to maintain that killer instinct and bring that intensity into our match against Farm Fresh. Teamwork is crucial, and we must focus on our coaches’ instructions. We must keep pushing hard once we gain the lead because every match is tough. We’re giving it our all,” said Adorador, who led Chery Tiggo with 14 points against the Nxled Chameleons.

On the other hand, Farm Fresh will counter with their own firepower, led by Trisha Tubu, Aly Bertolano, Caitlyn Viray, Jolina Dela Cruz, and playmaker Louie Romero.

Meanwhile, Cignal will rely on its solid core, including Vanie Gandler, Roselyn Doria-Aquino, Jackie Acuña, Dawn Catindig, Gel Cayuna, and promising rookie Ishie Lalongisip.

“We always look at the positive side of every situation. If we dwell on the negatives, it won’t help the team. Playing more games allows us to experience different challenges, which helps us grow and improve for future matches,” Lalongisip shared.

ZUS Coffee, aiming to pull off an upset, will be led by seasoned players Jovelyn Gonzaga, Thea Gagate, Michelle Gamit, Gayle Pascual, and Chinnie Arroyo.

With the quarterfinal race heating up, Chery Tiggo and Cignal are determined to seize their spots and keep their championship hopes alive.
