Cebu Pacific Travel AdvisoryUndas 2025: Peak travel reminders

As millions of Filipinos prepare to travel home or visit their loved ones this Undas, Cebu Pacific (CEB) reminds passengers to plan ahead and follow these travel guidelines to ensure a safe, smooth, and hassle-free journey.

1. Check your flight details and terminal assignment
Before heading to the airport, passengers must review their itineraries and boarding passes, particularly flight numbers and terminal assignments:

  • 5J flights: Operated by Cebu Pacific using large commercial jets. These arrive and depart from NAIA Terminal 3.
  • DG flights: Operated by Cebgo using turboprop aircraft.
  • T6 flights: Operated by AirSWIFT, arriving and departing from NAIA Terminal 2.

Starting October 26, select DG flights between Manila and Naga, and all flights between Manila and San Jose (Occidental Mindoro), will transfer to Clark International Airport. Other DG flights to and from Manila will remain at NAIA Terminal 2.

2. Arrive early at the airport
Expect heavier road traffic during the long weekend. Passengers are advised to be at the airport at least three (3) hours before domestic flights and four (4) hours before international flights. For Dubai-bound flights, check-in opens seven (7) hours before departure.

Check-in counters close 45 minutes before domestic departures and one (1) hour before international flights. After checking in, passengers should proceed immediately through security and immigration to avoid delays. Boarding begins 45 minutes before departure.

3. Check in online to save time
Avoid long lines by checking in through the official CEB mobile app or via the Manage Booking section on the CEB website. Online check-in opens 48 hours before departure and closes one (1) hour before domestic flights and two (2) hours before international flights.

Passengers without check-in baggage may proceed directly to boarding gates. At NAIA Terminal 3, check-in counters are located at Aisles A and B:

  • A1–A15: For online check-in passengers
  • A17–A29 and B1–B15: For walk-in check-in passengers

4. Complete eTravel forms for international trips
To avoid delays at immigration, international passengers must register or update their eTravel forms within 72 hours before departure and arrival, and save the QR code generated upon completion.

For roundtrip flights, fill out the eTravel form twice—once before departure and once before returning to the Philippines. The QR code will also be required by customs officers upon arrival.
Access the form via www.etravel.gov.ph.
For specific travel requirements, visit CEB Travel Guides.

5. Follow CEB’s baggage policy
Each passenger is allowed:

  • One (1) carry-on bag that fits in the overhead bin, and
  • One (1) personal item (purse, small backpack, or laptop bag) that fits under the seat.

The combined hand-carry weight must not exceed 7kg. Oversized or overweight bags will be checked in and charged at the gate.

Passengers can save by pre-purchasing baggage allowance online via the CEB website or app—up to four times cheaper than airport rates. Each 20kg baggage allowance can be topped up with an additional 4kg, 8kg, or 12kg. Add-ons can be purchased online up to two (2) hours before departure.

6. Self-tag check-in luggage for select destinations
Passengers departing from Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Clark, Coron, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, Manila, Puerto Princesa, Siargao, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, and Zamboanga are reminded to use the self-tag kiosks at airports before proceeding to bag drop counters. Self-bag drop machines are also available at NAIA Terminal 3 and Clark International Airport.

CEB thanks every Juan for choosing to fly with them this Undas season and wishes everyone a safe and meaningful trip with loved ones.
