Three people were taken into custody after authorities raided a suspected drug den in Barangay Muzon South during an undercover operation Saturday night.

About eight grams of suspected shabu valued at Php 54,400 were recovered from the suspects, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

The operation was conducted at around 7:08 p.m. by personnel of PDEA Bulacan and the Provincial Intelligence Team Bulacan East of the Police Regional Office 3’s Regional Intelligence Unit.

The primary target was identified by authorities only as alias “Andoy,” a 31-year-old man.

Two others found at the location, identified as alias “Ravy,” a 24-year-old woman, and alias “Junior,” a 43-year-old man, were also arrested.

Aside from the suspected illegal drugs, operatives recovered several items described as drug-sniffing paraphernalia as well as the marked money used in the transaction.

Authorities said the seized substances would undergo the required examination as investigators complete documentation of the operation.

Complaints under Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the three suspects. The allegations against them have yet to be proven in court.
