Bosch has named Celeste Cervania as managing director of Bosch Philippines, marking a leadership transition as the company celebrates 100 years of doing business in the country and positions itself for its next phase of expansion.
Effective January 1, 2026, Cervania takes over the Philippine operations of the global technology and services firm at a time when Bosch is looking to strengthen its role in a market being reshaped by digitalization, industrial modernization, and changing customer needs.
She succeeds Paulo Duarte, who during his stint as managing director helped deepen Bosch’s engagement with government and industry partners. His leadership also saw the company advance technical training and workforce development efforts, expand its automotive service network, participate in advanced manufacturing initiatives, and sustain its corporate social responsibility programs in the Philippines.
With more than two decades of experience inside the Bosch Group, Cervania brings a broad regional perspective to the role. Her background covers procurement, logistics, supplier development, contract management, and purchasing, with leadership assignments in the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia.
She has also handled regional responsibilities spanning Southeast Asia, Oceania, China, Japan, and Korea, giving her extensive exposure to the markets and supply chains shaping Bosch’s business across Asia-Pacific. Before joining Bosch, she also worked in procurement roles across paper manufacturing, automotive, and industrial sectors.
“Taking on the role of Managing Director of Bosch Philippines is both an honor and a responsibility to build on a century of partnership in the country. Leadership must be grounded in capability, integrity, and performance,” Cervania said. “We will continue to invest in our people and deliver solutions that support the Philippines’ growth.”
Bosch first entered the Philippine market in 1926 through its automotive products. Over the decades, the company has expanded well beyond that base, with a portfolio that now covers power tools, home appliances, life safety systems, advanced manufacturing technologies, and software-enabled services.
Cervania said Bosch intends to keep investing in both innovation and people as industries adapt to rapid technological change.
“Bosch has built its reputation on consistent, reliable innovation,” she said. “As technologies evolve, we see it as our role to equip technicians, partners, and industries with the skills needed to adapt. We will continue strengthening our partnerships with customers and stakeholders while expanding the reach of Bosch solutions across the sectors we serve.”
Her appointment comes as Bosch looks to build on its century-long presence in the Philippines and deepen partnerships that support local industry, skills development, and long-term growth.
