The Bureau of Customs (BOC) is targeting approximately Php 226 million in additional government revenue from the public auction of 11 luxury vehicles scheduled for October 30, 2026, at the Port of Manila.
In an announcement Monday, the BOC invited interested buyers to participate in the sealed-bid auction featuring high-end vehicles, including a 2022 Ferrari SF90 Stradale and a 2021 McLaren Senna.
Other vehicles up for bidding include a 2019 Lexus ES, 2019 Toyota Alphard, 2021 and 2023 Land Rover Range Rovers, 2023 BMW X6, 2021 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT, 2022 Bentley Continental, 2021 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
The bureau scheduled public viewing of the vehicles from October 27 to 29 at the BOC grounds, allowing prospective bidders to inspect the units before the auction.
The bidding will take place Friday at 10 a.m. at the second-floor conference room of the Prefab Building at the BOC-Port of Manila.
BOC Deputy Chief of Staff Chris Noel Bendijo said the agency expects to generate around Php 226 million from the sale, although no bidders had registered as of his latest update.
“Projected revenue is PHP226 million but no bidders have registered yet,” Bendijo said.
The bureau encouraged interested participants to review the auction requirements and vehicle listings through its official website.
Meanwhile, the BOC-Manila International Container Port (MICP) reported generating Php 18.38 million from the successful auction of 21 containers of woodfree paper.
MICP District Collector Felipe Geoffrey De Vera IV said the auction formed part of the bureau’s continuing efforts to maximize the value of goods under customs custody.
“Instead of remaining in storage, the goods were converted into additional funds that can be utilized for public programs and services,” De Vera said.
With the latest sale, the MICP has generated a total of Php 35.05 million from public auctions this year.
The BOC said the auction initiatives aim to generate additional government revenue while ensuring the transparent and productive disposal of goods under its custody.
