BOC resets auction of seized luxury cars to Nov. 20

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has postponed the public auction of seven luxury vehicles seized from the Discaya family to November 20, 2025.

In a social media post, the BOC said the auction will be held at 10 a.m. at the Situation Room, OCOM Building, South Harbor, Port Area, Manila. The event was originally scheduled for November 17 but was moved due to the impact of Super Typhoon Uwan.

Public viewing of the vehicles began Wednesday and will run until November 14 at the PUC Parking Area, OCOM Grounds in Port Area, Manila.

The bureau also updated the floor price and bond amounts. The floor price was adjusted from PHP17,041,121.93 to PHP17,311,121.93, while the bond increased from PHP852,056 to PHP865,556.

According to the BOC, the auction aims to recover revenues owed to the government, as most of the seized vehicles from contractor couple Pacifico “Curlee” and Cezarah Rowena “Sarah” Discaya had no records of paid duties and taxes.

“We encourage interested bidders to participate and support this initiative, which ensures that public assets are reclaimed and redirected toward national development,” the bureau said.

Vehicles up for auction include a 2022 Toyota Tundra, 2023 Toyota Sequoia, 2023 Rolls Royce Cullinan, 2022 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, 2019 Mercedes-Benz G500 Brabus, 2021 Lincoln Navigator L, and 2022 Bentley Bentayga.
