Authorities in Bahrain reported that a facility in the Maameer area, south of the capital Manama, was targeted Thursday following the activation of warning sirens across the country.
The Interior Ministry, citing state television, said relevant agencies are investigating the incident, though no additional details were immediately available.
Earlier, the ministry advised citizens and residents to move to the nearest safe locations as a precautionary measure.
Officials confirmed that no casualties were reported in the immediate aftermath of the attack.
The incident comes amid escalating regional tensions, with Iran launching missiles and drones toward Israel and Gulf countries hosting US military assets since February 28.
Some of these attacks have struck civilian sites, including ports and residential areas, causing damage and casualties.
Tehran has stated that the assaults were in response to US-Israeli military operations in Iran that have resulted in the deaths of hundreds, including high-ranking officials.
The situation continues to develop as authorities in Bahrain and neighboring countries remain on high alert to ensure public safety and security.
