Thailand — From July 21 to 24, ASICS held its second Regional Women’s Retreat at RXV Wellness Village, gathering over 35 women from across Southeast Asia to celebrate movement, mindfulness, and community. Building on the success of its inaugural retreat in 2023, which highlighted the gender exercise gap, this year’s edition further amplified ASICS’ mission to inspire women to embrace regular physical activity and unlock its mental health benefits.

Participants from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and body types took part in a thoughtfully curated lineup of activities rooted in ASICS’ philosophy of a Sound Mind in a Sound Body. Each day began with an energizing sunrise run led by ASICS Global Frontrunners Ania Gabb, Nina Ashton, and Prakriti Dutta, alongside ultramarathoner Natalie Dau — setting an uplifting tone and underscoring how movement fuels mental well-being.

To nourish the mind, the retreat opened with the symbolic ‘Let Go’ Ceremony, where participants released self-doubt and limiting beliefs, followed by the Flower Crystal Mandala, which encouraged reflection, emotional clarity, and self-awareness. These mindfulness practices created space for healing and inner growth.

To strengthen the body, guests engaged in spirited team challenges like high-five push-ups, Karuta Tori, and collaborative flag-making — fostering camaraderie, trust, and resilience. A serene hydrotherapy session offered quiet moments for relaxation and renewal, while sustainability-themed workshops such as Furoshiki eco-printing and Sashiko Japanese embroidery invited creativity and mindfulness through slow, intentional craft.

“Movement has the power to transform lives, and this retreat reflects our commitment to empowering women to prioritize both physical and mental wellness,” said Sin Ting Low, Associate Director for Marketing at ASICS Asia. “By building a supportive community, we can spark a ripple effect of positivity that extends far beyond our events.”

retreat also marked the launch of ASICS’ AW25 NAGINO collection — designed by women, for women — which celebrates the diversity of women’s bodies and movement styles. “With its ‘Feel Comfort, Find Calm’ theme, the collection resonates deeply with women from all walks of life,” shared Maaya Fujita, Product Marketing Manager at ASICS Global. “We want every woman to feel comfortable and confident in her own rhythm of movement.”

Through initiatives like the Regional Women’s Retreat and the growing ASICS Women’s Club, ASICS continues to build a purpose-driven community that uplifts and connects women. The brand remains committed to its belief that when women move together with purpose, they inspire meaningful change in the world around them.
