“As of August 2025, we have already released PHP10.7 billion in loans, and we expect this to grow steadily in the remaining months of the year,” Asialink president and CEO Samuel Cariño told the Philippine News Agency.

The online financial firm provides a range of loan products tailored for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), including collateral loans and auto loans.

In July, Asialink launched the WAIS Loan program, which offers up to PHP20 million in financing exclusively for women entrepreneurs. The initiative has earned backing from the Asian Development Bank and the International Finance Corporation, underscoring its potential to boost women-led businesses in the country.

Further amplifying its campaign, the company introduced singer-actress Jolina Magdangal as its WAIS brand ambassador last September 24.

Cariño explained that Magdangal was chosen for her relatability to Filipinas balancing family and career while pursuing entrepreneurial dreams. “She represents resilience, hard work, and the ability to balance family and career—values that resonate with many women who aspire to grow their businesses,” he said.
