The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the northeast monsoon will influence weather conditions over Metro Manila and several parts of Luzon on Wednesday.

Pagasa noted that amihan is expected to cause occasional light rains in the capital region, particularly during cooler periods of the day.

Central Luzon provinces, including Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, and Zambales, may also experience brief spells of light rainfall linked to the monsoon flow.

Similar conditions are forecast in parts of Calabarzon and Mimaropa, such as Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

In northern Luzon, the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon are expected to have cloudy skies with light rains.

It added that the Bicol Region may likewise see intermittent showers, although no widespread heavy rains are anticipated.

Elsewhere in the country, isolated rain showers may occur due to localized thunderstorms, while a low-pressure area being monitored outside the Philippine area of responsibility is unlikely to affect the country.
