Allianz PNB Life is placing single mothers at the center of its newest advocacy with the launch of MaPanatag, a socially inclusive initiative crafted to ease everyday pressures and strengthen financial security for one of the country’s most hardworking yet underserved communities. With an estimated 15 million single parents in the Philippines—95 percent of whom are women—the company hopes to offer real support in moments where strength meets solitude.
MaPanatag takes its name from the sense of calm and assurance Allianz aims to bring to single moms as they juggle careers, caregiving, and countless responsibilities.
“The MaPanatag proposition is a testament to the care and support we want to extend to single moms,” shared Joe Gross, President and CEO of Allianz PNB Life. The program’s inspiration began with a heartfelt conversation Joe once had with a single mom working at Allianz. As she opened up about her worries for her child’s future, Joe, raised by a single mother himself, felt the weight of her fears—and the urgency to help.
“Single moms often carry the weight of the world on their shoulders,” he said. “Through MaPanatag, we want them to know they don’t have to face their fears alone. With Allianz by their side, they can be assured that their children will always be cared for.”
To ensure authenticity, the initiative was built by those who know the journey best. Three single moms from Allianz PNB Life led the program’s development, enriched by the real-life stories of Mombassadors from both Allianz and PNB. Their lived experiences shaped a support system designed not just for single moms—but with them.
“MaPanatag was made by single moms, for single moms,” added Gross. “It’s one of Allianz’s fastest-developed propositions because it came from real needs, real struggles, and real love.”
Among the Mombassadors championing the initiative are Apple Isidro, who shared her story of strength and perseverance; Heidi Larosa, who leaned on faith through hardship; and Janella Reyes, whose victories emerged from unexpected trials. PNB’s representatives include Rosemary Fernandez, who rediscovered grace and resilience; Angel Galut, who embodies courage; and Aira Carmelo, who grew stronger with each challenge she faced.
Holistic Support Tailored for Single Moms
At the heart of MaPanatag is a trio of benefits designed to empower single mothers with protection, wellness, and financial opportunity:
- eAZy Health – A renewable life and health protection plan that covers critical illness, accidental death, disability, dismemberment, and total permanent disability for as low as P970 per month.
- HerBox – A curated wellness package featuring ₱2,000 worth of wellness benefits in the first year and ₱1,000 annually from Years 2 to 5, plus exclusive discounts from partner pharmacies, clinics, wellness services, and mom-and-baby essentials.
- Opportunity to Earn – A pathway for single moms to join Allianz’s distribution team, helping them generate additional income while supporting their families.
Through these benefits, Allianz PNB Life strengthens its promise to uplift mothers raising families on their own—giving them room to breathe, grow, and dream.
“Single moms go above and beyond every day,” Gross emphasized. “But they shouldn’t have to face tomorrow’s uncertainties alone. MaPanatag helps them live strong today with the comfort of knowing tomorrow is secure.”
A Commitment Rooted in Inclusion and Sustainability
MaPanatag further aligns with Allianz PNB Life’s mission to build resilient, inclusive communities by extending meaningful protection where it matters most.
“Sustainability has always been part of Allianz’s journey,” Gross said. “MaPanatag fits our goal of reaching more families, strengthening communities, and making care accessible to those who need it most.”
PNB’s nationwide network will help bring the initiative within reach of single moms across the Philippines, bridging protection with access and support.
Ultimately, MaPanatag represents more than a program—it is a tribute to the courage of single mothers, a recognition of their sacrifices, and a promise that they will never have to walk the journey alone.
