Acer is doubling down on its vision of future-ready education, bringing together regional leaders to explore how artificial intelligence can reshape classrooms across Asia Pacific.

At the Acer Edu Summit Asia Pacific 2026 held in Jakarta on April 22–23, the technology firm gathered educators, policymakers, and industry players from across the region to exchange ideas and accelerate the integration of AI in education. Anchored on the theme “Future-Ready Learning: AI, Innovation, and Human-Centered Education,” the summit underscored a growing consensus: technology must enhance—not replace—the human side of learning.

The two-day event served as more than just a conference—it became a collaborative platform where stakeholders tackled key challenges, from improving digital literacy to enabling personalized learning experiences. With participants from countries including the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and Australia, the summit highlighted the importance of regional cooperation in building a more inclusive and adaptive education ecosystem.

Acer executives emphasized that innovation in education must be guided by real-world needs. The company sees AI not as a standalone solution, but as a tool to empower educators, enhance teaching methods, and better prepare students for evolving global demands.

Driving the conversation forward were experts from leading institutions, including the MIT Media Lab, who showcased emerging technologies such as the Learning Foundry for AI and Robotics (FAIR). These initiatives aim to deliver scalable, personalized learning systems while equipping students with skills to tackle complex, real-world challenges.

The summit also highlighted the infrastructure needed to support AI adoption in schools. Industry leaders pointed to the importance of robust computing systems and integrated platforms that can manage and deploy AI tools efficiently—bridging the gap between concept and classroom application.

On the hardware front, Acer introduced its latest Copilot+ PCs powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, designed to support interactive and flexible learning environments. Devices such as the TravelMate P4 Spin 14 AI aim to make classrooms more dynamic, enabling both educators and students to engage more deeply through technology.

As AI continues to reshape industries, Acer’s message at the summit was clear: education must evolve alongside it. By fostering collaboration across sectors and investing in both technology and pedagogy, the company is positioning itself at the forefront of building a more responsive, inclusive, and future-ready learning landscape.
