Acer Philippines is marking a major milestone by turning its 10th Acer Day celebration into a full-blown fitness and music experience, kicking things off with The Music Run on August 22, 2026, at the SM MOA Complex.
But this is no ordinary race.
Instead of a quiet stretch of road and the sound of pounding sneakers, participants will race through a soundtrack-powered course packed with high-energy beats, themed Music Zones, brand experiences, and a finish-line celebration designed to feel more like a festival than a traditional fun run.
Known for its signature Sound Track Run Course, The Music Run transforms the usual race experience by surrounding runners with music from start to finish. Participants can choose between the 5K and 10K routes and tackle the course however they like — whether that means running, jogging, walking, or even dancing their way to the finish line.
The event will officially launch Acer Day 2026, which carries the theme “Shift the Game.” This year’s celebration puts the spotlight on three interests that increasingly shape how younger generations live and connect: fitness, entertainment, and technology.
Now on its 10th year, Acer Day has grown into one of the brand’s biggest regional celebrations, created to bring consumers closer to technology through experiences that go beyond devices and specifications. The annual campaign combines community events, entertainment, innovation, and special promotions across Acer’s markets.
The milestone is even bigger in 2026 as Acer also celebrates its 50th anniversary.
“The Music Run reflects our commitment to creating experiences that bring people together beyond technology. As we celebrate 50 years of Acer and 10 years of Acer Day, we can’t wait to see our community rally and shift the game with us,” said Mart Maranon, Marketing Manager at Acer Philippines.
And crossing the finish line does not mean the celebration is over.
Race participants can extend their Acer Day experience with the Acer Day Concert at the Araneta Coliseum on August 30, 2026. Race registration packages are available with General Admission, Upper Box, and Lower Box concert options, giving participants a chance to turn one weekend run into a much bigger Acer Day celebration.
