4 buildings with 7,200 housing units in Davao ready for occupancy

Four buildings with 7,200 residential units in Davao City are now ready for occupancy under the government’s socialized housing program, Malacañang announced Friday.

According to Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro, a total of 72 five-story buildings are planned, with four completed and ready for turnover, while the rest remain under construction.

The housing units will benefit families living in danger zones and those affected by government infrastructure projects in the city.

“The Marcos administration’s Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pamilyang Pilipino or 4PH program will continue to provide proper and affordable housing to Filipinos,” Castro said.

The 4PH program offers subsidies to reduce monthly amortization for beneficiaries. The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development is expediting the construction of the socialized condominium housing project in Davao City, particularly the People’s Ville I, II, III Condominium Project in Calinan town, implemented by the Social Housing Finance Corporation.
