MANILA, Philippines — Filipino travelers may want to check their passports and start plotting their next getaway because Cebu Pacific is firing up a major international expansion — and it comes with a headline-grabbing ₱1 base fare seat sale.
The budget airline is opening and reviving direct flights from Cebu, Clark, and Manila to hot destinations in Japan, China, and Vietnam beginning this October, just in time for the holiday travel rush.
And the biggest attention-grabber? Selected international flights can be booked for as low as ₱1 one-way base fare during Cebu Pacific’s special sale from August 7 to 11, 2026.
The promo excludes fees and surcharges, but travelers who score seats can fly from October 26, 2026 to March 31, 2027 — covering Christmas, New Year, and the opening months of 2027.
Cebu Travelers Hit the Jackpot
Cebu is emerging as one of the biggest winners in Cebu Pacific’s latest expansion.
Starting October 26, direct flights between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City return three times a week every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
That means passengers from the Visayas can head straight to Vietnam’s famous food, nightlife, shopping, and historic districts without the hassle of connecting through Manila.
Then on November 17, Cebu Pacific launches direct Cebu–Shanghai flights three times weekly.
The airline says it will be the only local carrier flying nonstop between Cebu and Shanghai, giving travelers a direct gateway to one of China’s biggest business and tourism hubs.
But the Japan route could become one of the hottest tickets.
Beginning November 19, Cebu Pacific will fly Cebu–Nagoya four times weekly, operating every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Nagoya becomes Cebu Pacific’s third Japanese destination directly accessible from Cebu after Tokyo-Narita and Osaka.
Even better for Cebu travelers: Cebu Pacific says it will be the only airline offering direct flights between Cebu and Nagoya.
For Filipinos dreaming of ramen runs, shopping sprees, autumn adventures, or winter trips to Japan, that means one less airport connection to worry about.
Clark Gets Its Own Vietnam Gateway
Central Luzon passengers are also getting a major travel upgrade.
Cebu Pacific will bring back its Clark–Hanoi flights starting November 19, operating three times weekly every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Flights from Hanoi to Clark begin the following day.
The airline says it remains the only carrier with direct flights between Clark and Vietnam, allowing travelers from Pampanga and nearby provinces to skip the long journey to Manila before flying overseas.
Xiamen Returns to Cebu Pacific’s Map
China-bound travelers from Metro Manila are getting another option as well.
Starting November 23, Cebu Pacific will resume its Manila–Xiamen service twice weekly every Monday and Friday.
The comeback strengthens the airline’s China network, which already includes direct Manila flights to Shanghai and Guangzhou.

Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer Xander Lao said the airline is expanding its network to give more Filipinos direct and affordable ways to travel across Asia.
The carrier currently serves 35 destinations in the Philippines and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
With more nonstop flights, new international gateways outside Manila, and a ₱1 promotional base fare up for grabs, Cebu Pacific is clearly making an aggressive play for Filipinos already planning their next overseas escape.
