The warning came after a meeting with regional officials in Kyiv, where recent attacks across various areas were discussed.

Zelenskyy said intelligence reports pointed to preparations that could affect water supply systems in the coming months, prompting authorities to heighten vigilance.

He stressed that local governments must take the matter seriously and ensure adequate protection of critical facilities in their respective areas.

Officials were urged to adopt stricter measures to safeguard essential services, particularly those linked to public utilities and daily needs.

In a separate development, Zelenskyy spoke about ongoing discussions involving the United States and possible security arrangements for Ukraine.

He said Washington was prepared to move forward with security guarantees, but only under certain conditions tied to the situation in eastern Ukraine.

According to Zelenskyy, these conditions included the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from the Donbas region, which remains a key point of contention in the conflict.
