A quick snack break can be a small reward in a busy day—and discovering a new favorite makes it even better. This October, McDonald’s Philippines is adding sweet, buttery and smoky flavors to its Snack & Match lineup, with solo options starting at ₱59 and combinations at ₱79.
Available beginning October 1, the limited-time additions include Honey Butter McShaker Fries, Creamy BBQ Burger McDo and Creamy BBQ Crispy Chicken Sandwich.
The Honey Butter McShaker Fries gives the familiar shake-and-enjoy snack a sweet and savory twist, coating crispy fries with honey notes and buttery flavor. For those craving something smoky, the two Creamy BBQ sandwiches feature a creamy, garlicky sauce that adds a new dimension to the original burger and chicken sandwich.
The launch puts an affordable spin on trying something different during merienda, whether it is an afternoon office break, a quick stop between errands or a catch-up with the barkada.
“Filipinos are always looking for something new to enjoy, especially during merienda, and that’s exactly what Snack & Match is designed to deliver,” said Ada Almendras-Lazaro, chief marketing officer of McDonald’s Philippines.
The new items join a lineup that includes Medium Poptato, Choco Lava Puff, Cheesy Burger McDo, McSpaghetti, regular fries in plain, BBQ or cheese variants, and Medium Iced Coffee Original.
For ₱79, customers can pair their chosen main with a side. Choices include Taro Custard Pie, Plain Sundae, medium soft drinks and several McFloat variants, giving customers room to mix familiar favorites with the latest additions.
Almendras-Lazaro said the expanding selection aims to keep snack breaks interesting while remaining easy on the wallet.
“We’re especially excited to see barkadas, families, and workmates enjoy these moments together, because discovering new favorites is always more fun when shared with others,” she said.
McSavers Snack & Match is available through front counters, takeout, self-ordering kiosks, drive-thru, McDelivery and third-party delivery platforms.
