Xiaomi is strengthening its position in the global technology landscape as it unveils new innovations in mobile imaging, smart appliances, and intelligent manufacturing—signaling a deeper push into an interconnected ecosystem designed to transform everyday living.
Among the highlights is Xiaomi’s latest progress in mobile imaging technology, aimed at delivering sharper night photography, improved accuracy in high-contrast scenes, and enhanced telephoto capabilities.
These upgrades reinforce the company’s focus on elevating smartphone photography to rival professional camera performance, enabling users to capture clearer, more detailed images across a wider range of conditions.
The event also showcased the Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi, a device that represents one of the most refined collaborations yet between Xiaomi and the legendary German optics brand Leica. Developed in close partnership with Leica’s design team, the phone takes design cues from the iconic Leica M-series cameras.
Its dual-tone rear panel blends a leather-textured grip with a matte finish, creating a premium aesthetic that echoes the look and feel of a classic camera while enhancing durability and handling.
Beyond mobile devices, Xiaomi is expanding its ambitions in the smart home space. The company presented its complete lineup of major smart appliances to international audiences, underscoring the growing global reach of its smart living business.
Anchored on Xiaomi’s “Human × Car × Home” strategy, the initiative aims to seamlessly connect people, vehicles, and homes through intelligent technologies. The company is accelerating the rollout of major appliances—including air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines—transforming them into AI-enabled devices that can learn user habits, coordinate with other smart devices, and respond proactively to daily needs.
Currently available across four major regions and 14 countries, Xiaomi’s smart home ecosystem continues to expand, giving more consumers access to a fully connected environment where devices work together to enhance comfort, convenience, and energy efficiency.
At the same time, Xiaomi is strengthening its commitment to sustainability through advanced manufacturing. The launch of Phase One of the Xiaomi Smart Home Appliance Factory in Wuhan marks a significant step forward in this effort. The facility becomes Xiaomi’s third major smart manufacturing base, joining its smartphone factory and EV super factory.
Together, these production hubs form a unified ecosystem that integrates the manufacturing of smartphones, smart home appliances, and electric vehicles through automation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence. This intelligent system allows Xiaomi to streamline production while improving resource efficiency and reducing environmental impact across the product lifecycle.
These initiatives reflect Xiaomi’s broader commitment to responsible growth and sustainable innovation. The company’s efforts have earned international recognition, including an upgraded “A” rating from MSCI for environmental, social, and governance performance, as well as inclusion in Forbes’ 2025 China ESG 50 list and the World’s Best Employers ranking.
