Want a New TV, Laptop or Appliance? Maya Lets You Split Big Purchases at Effective 0% Interest

MANILA, Philippines — That long-delayed laptop upgrade, brand-new television or much-needed washing machine may now be easier on the wallet.

Maya is rolling out a limited-time promotion that allows eligible credit cardholders to convert qualifying electronics and home appliance purchases into a three-month Mini Payment plan at an effective 0% interest, giving consumers more breathing room when making big-ticket upgrades.

The promo runs from August 1 to October 31, 2026 and is available to users of the Maya Black Credit Card and Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card.

Adding to the deal, Maya is also waiving processing fees for Mini Payments created until September 30, 2026.

That means instead of shelling out the full amount in one go, eligible cardholders can spread the cost of their purchases over three months while taking advantage of the promotional interest arrangement.

Rewards Keep Coming

Cardholders do not have to sacrifice rewards just because they are paying in installments.

Purchases made using the Maya Black Credit Card will continue earning instant Maya Miles, while Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card users can still collect Landers Cashback Points.

The promotion applies to a single straight purchase of at least ₱10,000 made at participating electronics and home appliance merchants.

Once the transaction appears in the Maya app, cardholders can select the purchase, tap “Convert to Mini Payments,” and choose the three-month payment option.

Here’s the Catch You Should Know

Maya clarified that Mini Payments are initially billed using the standard monthly interest rate.

However, for eligible transactions under the promotion, Maya will automatically credit back the applicable interest during the first week of the following month once the Mini Payment appears on the customer’s credit statement.

The reimbursement effectively brings the promotional interest rate down to 0%, subject to the program’s terms and conditions.

Big Purchases Without the Big One-Time Hit

The promotion could appeal to consumers planning major home or technology purchases but who would rather preserve their cash for other expenses.

Whether it is replacing a refrigerator that has seen better days, upgrading a work laptop, buying a larger television or finally getting another appliance off the household wish list, the Mini Payments option gives eligible customers another way to manage the cost.

The offer, however, is limited to participating merchants and qualifying transactions, so customers are encouraged to check the full mechanics and eligible merchant list at maya.ph/minipaymentpromo before swiping their cards.

Credit card approval and promotional eligibility remain subject to credit evaluation and applicable terms.
