Vice President Sara Duterte has not yet submitted her response to the summons issued by the Senate impeachment court, which convened on June 10, according to the tribunal’s spokesperson.
As reported by Jonathan Andal on “24 Oras,” Duterte’s camp has until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, June 23, to submit their reply. The ten-day period given to her to respond ended on June 21, but since that date fell on a Saturday, her team can file the response by Monday.
Impeachment court spokesperson Atty. Reginald Tongol confirmed that as of Saturday morning, the Vice President had not filed a reply. “Whether or not there is an answer, or whether or not there is an appearance pero walang answer, patuloy pa rin po ‘yung proseso,” Tongol stated during a news forum.
