Most Filipino voters will support candidates who promise to make basic goods and services more affordable and improve health care, according to the latest OCTA Research survey released Saturday.
The April 2025 “Tugon ng Masa” survey found that 53% of 1,200 adult respondents cited affordability of essentials as their top concern ahead of the May elections.
Improving the country’s health care system followed closely at 50%, while 47% highlighted the need to strengthen agriculture and ensure food security.
Job creation (41%) and addressing poverty and hunger (38%) also emerged as key voter priorities, suggesting that economic and social welfare issues will be decisive in shaping voter preferences this year.
