Iran reported hundreds of deaths and injuries following joint military attacks by the United States and Israel since February 28.
The Iranian Health Ministry said at least 926 people were killed in the strikes, while 6,186 others sustained injuries as of 5 p.m. local time on March 4.
Ministry spokesperson Hossein Kermanpour said 2,054 of the injured remain hospitalized, 3,545 were treated and released, and another 552 received medical attention at the scene.
He added that 502 surgical procedures have been performed on the wounded so far.
Women accounted for 13 percent of the fatalities, while men made up 87 percent. Among the dead, 180 were under 18 years old, including three children under five, with the youngest being a one-year-old in Tehran.
Among those injured, 301 were minors under 18, and 39 were children younger than five. The youngest injured person was a six-month-old boy, while the oldest was a 91-year-old man.
The strikes reportedly targeted key military installations and leadership figures, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and senior officials.
Iran has responded with drone and missile attacks aimed at Israel and Gulf countries hosting US military forces, escalating the ongoing conflict.
