Davao City — TP in the Philippines, formerly known as Teleperformance and a global leader in digital business services, has reinforced its commitment to inclusive growth in Mindanao by officially naming the House of Hope Foundation for Kids with Cancer, Inc. as a beneficiary under its corporate social responsibility arm, the Citizen of the World (COTW) Foundation.
The partnership signals more than corporate philanthropy. It represents a strategic and long-term investment in pediatric cancer care in Southern Philippines—where access to specialized treatment remains a life-defining challenge for many families.
Established in 2004, House of Hope has become a lifeline for children battling cancer and their families. For over two decades, the foundation has operated a “halfway house” for patients traveling from distant provinces to seek treatment. Beyond temporary shelter, it delivers comprehensive support that spans medical assistance, psychosocial care, and financial aid.
Through its Kids of Hope program and the Mindanao Pediatric Cancer Care Network, House of Hope has played a pivotal role in strengthening the Southern Philippines Medical Center as a regional hub for pediatric oncology. Its work has helped transform survival journeys into stories of resilience and recovery.
The collaboration was formalized through a contract signing between Jeffrey Johnson, Chief People Officer of TP in the Philippines and President of the COTW Foundation, and Arleen Aportadera, Manager of House of Hope. The agreement aligns both organizations under a shared mission: to deliver hope, dignity, and life-saving support to vulnerable children and their families.
“Being a true Citizen of the World means partnering with the communities where we live and work,” Johnson said. “This collaboration with House of Hope reflects our belief that corporate responsibility must translate into real, measurable impact, especially for the most vulnerable in our communities.”
Under the partnership, TP Philippines will help expand access to treatment, strengthen early detection efforts, and support child life services designed to help young patients cope emotionally and psychologically during the most difficult stages of care.
For TP, the initiative is part of a broader strategy of purpose-driven growth in the Philippines. As the company expands its footprint in Mindanao, it is embedding community development into its operational blueprint—ensuring that business growth goes hand in hand with social progress.
Together, TP in the Philippines and House of Hope are building a sustained alliance grounded in compassion, resilience, and shared responsibility—working to save lives, one Child of Hope at a time.
