Say goodbye to fumbling for printed tickets. Ticketnet is leveling up the local ticketing experience with the rollout of Google Wallet integration in the Philippines, making entry to movies, concerts, and sports events faster, easier, and completely phone-friendly.

The country’s leading ticketing platform is now allowing customers to store their tickets directly in Google Wallet, marking a major step forward in Ticketnet’s push for seamless, digital-first ticketing. With the new feature, eventgoers can simply pull out their smartphones, have their tickets scanned, and head straight inside—no physical printouts required.

“We are glad to be one of the first services that will boast of Google Wallet integration,” said Irene Jose, chief operating officer of Uniprom. “This will mean easier access and more convenient ticketing for our customers. There’s no need for physical tickets—just whip out your phone, have it scanned, and you’re ready to enjoy the show.”

The new integration is designed to make the entire ticket journey effortless. Once customers access their mobile tickets, they will see an “Add to Google Wallet” button. With just one tap, tickets are securely saved in the wallet, ready for instant access on event day. By tapping into Google Wallet’s APIs, Ticketnet allows digital tickets to live alongside users’ payment cards, IDs, and passes in one secure hub.

For Ticketnet, the move reinforces its long-standing commitment to convenience, reliability, and innovation. “We’ve always believed in the power of technology to elevate entertainment and sporting experiences,” Jose added. “This integration is another proof of our commitment to our customers.”

Ticketnet was among the launch partners when Google Wallet officially rolled out in the Philippines last November. The local launch was attended by key Uniprom officials, including Ticketnet general manager Karen Nicasio and systems administration manager Marco Dimaculangan, underscoring the company’s strong support for digital transformation in live entertainment.

The shift also mirrors a global trend, as entertainment venues and ticketing platforms worldwide increasingly adopt digital wallets as a standard tool for fans heading to concerts, games, and cinemas.

“We’re excited for you to try this integration with Google Wallet,” Jose said. “We know this will simplify and transform how you purchase and use your tickets, and we look forward to bringing even more tech-driven solutions that elevate everyday experiences.”

Tickets remain available at Ticketnet outlets nationwide or through its official website at www.ticketnet.com.ph—now with a smoother, smarter way to get you into the action.
