Three Police officials promoted in Philippine National Police reorganization

In a recent reorganization of the Philippine National Police (PNP), three ranking police officials have been appointed to new positions. An order dated July 18 and made public on Sunday by PNP chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III designated Brig. Gen. Erickson Dilaga as the regional director of Police Regional Office (PRO) Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Brig. Gen. Ronald Gayo as the chief of the Firearms and Explosive Office (FEO), and Brig. Gen. Rogelio Raymundo Jr. as the Deputy Regional Director for Administration of PRO 3 (Central Luzon). This reshuffle took effect on July 21.

Additionally, 11 officials holding the rank of police colonel received new assignments. The following changes were made:

  • Col. Arvin Alcantara from the Directorate for Logistics to the Directorate for Plans (DPL)
  • Col. Richard Bad-Ang from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group to PRO-4A (Calabarzon)
  • Col. Harold Depositar from DPL to the PNP Academy (PNPA)
  • Col. Jay Dimaandal from PRO3 to PRO Negros Island Region
  • Col. Wilson Doromal from DPL to the Office of the Chief PNP (OCPNP)
  • Col. Frederick Obar from DPL to a new assignment
  • Col. Ariel Red from CIDG to PRO-4A
  • Col. Nelvin Richohermoso from PRO5 (Bicol) to PRO 10 (Northern Mindanao)
  • Col. Julius Suriben from PRO-4A to the Directorate for Logistics (DL)
  • Col. Alikhan Yusop from PRO9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) to the Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR)
  • Col. Michael Rae Tuscano from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) to PRO7 (Central Visayas)

These new designations took effect on July 17.
