No less than Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte took the lead in lighting up the 30-foot tree in simple ceremonies held at the Mall’s Atrium.
Also present were Congressman Marvin Rillo, QC councilors Irene Belmonte, Imee Rillo, Raquel Malañgen, and Nanette Castelo-Daza, a representative for Vice Mayor Gian Sotto Yoli Lacsamana, and Barangay Captain Christopher Cheng. Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) executives, led by Robinsons Malls Executive Vice President and General Manager Faraday D. Go, welcomed them.
The true spirit of Christmas was felt as children of the Philippine National Police and Bureau of Fire Protection were filled with joy and excitement upon receiving toys and gifts from Santa Claus.
The children from the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Foundation were also touched and delighted with the Christmas boxes they received from Robinsons Malls, which spread warmth and joy to all present.
The evening was capped by Pinopela serenading the audience with the song “A Perfect Christmas,” Robinsons Malls’ official holiday jingle.
